For me, it's all about the in-between moments that are often overlooked.

MY WHY

As a firm believer of collecting memories rather than things, meaningful moments have fueled my photography passion over the past seven years. Whether it be capturing the warmth of the sun setting over the cliffs of Big Sur or the look on my son's face as he sudsed up in his first bath; photography has allowed me to look back on special memories and instantaneously be brought back to the way I felt during that very moment.

My family is my world. When I'm not taking photos, I'm spending time with my husband Paul, son Cooper and daughter Mckenna; probably searching for an espresso beverage. I am devastatingly allergic to gluten, so I also spend a lot of time finding where I can get my latest fix of baked goods.

About SHANNON

Of course I'm going to be there to capture the key moments; getting ready, walking down the aisle, your first kiss... but my absolute favorite parts of the day to capture, the ones I get giddy over, are all of those you likely don't even realize are happening; your grandparents holding hands during your ceremony remembering like it was just yesterday they were committing their lives to each another, or the beaming look of pride on your parents' faces as you take your first dance as husband and wife knowing how many happy moments lie ahead. As an empath through and through, I get so much energy and inspiration looking around the room to see the support of those closest to you, so when you look back through your gallery you get to relive moments you didn't even know happened.
